JOIN THE MOVEMENT (Asia, Africa, Latin America)

Little Brothers & Sisters International does not set up a new office in each country. Instead we partner with schools, NGO's and church networks in the Non-western world to train your youth to become mentors to one little brother or sister each.

Through these partnerships, thousands of young people are being equipped to be change-makers in their own communities. At risk kids are being mentored, children and their extended families are finding support, and communities are being transformed.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE RESOURCES WE USE...

COURSE-WORK & RESOURCES FOR TRAINING

COURSE-WORK & RESOURCES FOR TRAINING

3-year Curriculum

Over the course of 9 modules (27 comic book lessons) the "little brothers & sisters" learn life-skills and character traits, such as perseverance, honesty, goal setting, study skills, mind-mapping, leadership, budgetting, and much more. In later years, they even learn how to deal with the challenges of drugs, domestic violence, pornography and gangs.

All these lessons are presented in a fun, visual, story-based (comic book) format - which is not only for the mentor, but also for their "little brother or sister".

ORIENTATION MATERIALS & FOLLOW UP SYSTEMS

ORIENTATION MATERIALS & FOLLOW UP SYSTEMS

Orientation Pack

Little Brothers & Sisters International has developed contextualized mobilization, training and follow up resources for each country movement - in the appropriate local language and artwork.

Because many of the young people we work with have limited literacy, we use local artists to create flipcharts and artwork to communicate the training material.

Through these simple, yet effective materials, local leaders are easily trained to share the vision and help equip local youth.

STAFF SUPPORT & ONGOING ENCOURAGEMENT

STAFF SUPPORT & ONGOING ENCOURAGEMENT

Ongoing Support

Little Brothers & Sisters International has developed comprehensive systems and structures to help your leaders get started and achieve growth and effectiveness.

Sometimes, the most helpful thing is to sit down face to face and learn. Or visit another country where the movement is thriving. At other times, all that is needed is an email, Skype or phonecall.

Our commitment to you is to be there when you need us. To walk alongside as long as you want us: providing staff and volunteer leader training, advice and resources.
